With 'attention to detail' being a hallmark of the
Carl House experience, having the right culinary team is all a part of the
vision and experience for the discerning bride-to-be. Executive Chef
Robert Nenno, fondly referred to as 'Chef Berto', is the energetic new
addition to the Carl House team, bringing a wealth of experience,
enthusiasm and creativity into the Carl House mix! As a 1983 graduate of

Bourdeaux, a celebrate 5-Star Chef who resides and makes his culinary home
in Paris, France.
Chef Berto has honed his craft working in variety of fine dining establishments throughout the East Coast before owning his own restaurant in Greenville, NC, called The King and Queen Restaurant which was classified as the finest dining restaurant in Greenville. Chef Berto is also trained in Classic French and Italian Cuisine, though has a passion for American and Southern American Cuisine. Known for his extraordinary sauces and creative displays and garnishes, he delights his audience by using the finest regional selections and creating menus to suit the season.
Carl House brides will no doubt enjoy not only Chef Berto's culinary wizardry, but also positive outlook and desire to create the perfect menu for his clientele. Having demonstrated his culinary skills to an enthusiastic audience on WNCT TV’s Channel 9 show, Carolina Today, Chef Berto is proud to have had the opportunity to wave his culinary magic wand while cooking for a host of celebrities including Carol Channing and one of his favorites, Barbara Bossome from Hill Street his Blues!
