Choosing the right caterer is an important decision for every bride. Carl House is delighted to introduce our extraordinary executive chef, Melanie Hanke. Trained at the Culinary Institute “Am Judenplatz” in Vienna, Austria, Melanie went on to work as a Certified Pastry Cook for the Ritz Carlton hotel in Atlanta. She spent the next seven years at Château Élan, with growing areas of responsibility, culminating in the position of Spa Chef for Fleur de Lis, Château Élan Winery & Resort in various roles including Garde Manger Sous Chef and just prior to taking up her position at Carl House.
Melanie transforms ordinary regional cuisine with her use of proprietary sauces, fresh herbs and her carefully cultivated sense of creativity and taste. With regular seasonal changes, Melanie’s recipes and buffet designs are created to both inspire and delight our guests. Working one on one with our clientele, she is able to satisfy and delight the most discriminating tastes, constantly exceeding our clients’ expectations.
Our chef has unique catering menu ideas, not only for your wedding events, but also for anniversaries, retirement dinners, baby christening celebrations, business conferences, holiday parties and other theme events!
