Lovingly restored to its original white columned majesty and surrounded by lush, formal gardens, this traditional antebellum-style home provides the perfect backdrop for your cherished memories.
Ideal for indoor or outdoor ceremonies, rehearsal dinners and receptions, our gardens and elegant 4,000 sq. ft. ballroom with its dramatic staircase will provide every bride with the entrance of a lifetime.
When you choose Carl House, your wedding is the star. No "factory weddings" allowed. We book the house and grounds for only one wedding at a time so your care and comfort can be our highest priority.
Open year round, Carl House can be transformed to an intimate setting for 75 guests or an over-the-top extravaganza garden wedding and reception for up to 450 guests. The grand ballroom with mezzanine, suspended stair, fireplace and covered porches can accommodate a seated dinner for 250 or an elegant buffet for 350.
Our large, well appointed Bride and Groom Suites provide a relaxed setting for you and your wedding party to prepare for the big moment in luxury and privacy. (There's even a hidden TV for the groom's party to check the scores!
With the convenience of an in-house culinary and a full service floral department, ask also about our third floor deluxe suite, an excellent choice for your more intimate bridal shower. With a vendor showcase also our third floor, the warm Carl House team is delighted to assist you with as much or as little of the planning of your event as you prefer. Inside or out, Carl House is a gorgeous setting for your wedding photography and an ideal location where special memories are made!
